| 1. Hands-on Video Production Workshop |

This workshop will be taught by professional filmmakers in the industry today. Students will work in small groups to produce short films. Each group will be supervised by a media instructor learning basic camera techniques, the art of storytelling, and basic editing. This program is offered in collaboration with Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV), teaching youth media for over 30 years.

| 2. Off Campus Activities |
|
|
There will be day trips to NYC, exposing students to the city’s most famous cultural and historic icons, such as Central Park, museums, Broadway and more.

| 3. Lecture Series from Top Creators |
|
|
Special lectures will be held by world renowned creators, giving the students the opportunity to learn their techniques and philosophies directly.

| 4. Sense of Community |
|
|
Students will have a chance to live with other students from Japan and the United States on our beautiful nature filled campus. Through various activities, students will have the opportunity to learn about another culture.

| 5. Cross-cultural Learning and Group Work |

|
Through the eyes of the camera, students will explore history and culture and create short videos. While discussing the filmmaking process, they learn how to communicate with others, and work in teams to develop critical thinking and self-expression.

| 6. Language Classes |
|
|
Our native English and Japanese teachers will teach efficiently and effectively in both languages. This will give students the opportunity to learn a new language and to enjoy themselves in the process.
